Who is Eligible?
- The beneficiary family should not own a pucca house in their name or in the name of any member of their family in any part of India.
- For the LIG/EWS category, the annual family income should not exceed the specified limit set by the ministry.
- Beneficiaries must possess a valid Aadhaar card and a bank account linked to their identity.
- Rural beneficiaries must be listed in the SECC-2011 permanent waitlist.

Process & Guidelines
Step 1: Visit the official PMAY portal (pmaymis.gov.in for urban, pmayg.nic.in for rural).
Step 2: Select the "Citizen Assessment" option from the main menu.
Step 3: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number to verify your identity.
Step 4: Once verified, fill in the comprehensive application form, including personal details, contact info, and bank account details.
Step 5: Upload the necessary supporting documents, such as income proof and identity proof.
Step 6: Submit the application and save the generated "Assessment ID" for future tracking.
Step 7: Authorities will conduct a site verification and check your eligibility against government databases.
