Process & Guidelines
Step 1: Go to the Official Udyam Portal
Visit udyamregistration.gov.in → Click on "For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME".
Step 2: Verify Aadhaar
Enter your Aadhaar Number and Name exactly as printed on the card → Click "Validate & Generate OTP" → Enter the OTP received on your phone.
Step 3: Verify PAN Details
Select your organization type (e.g., Proprietary for single owners) → Enter your PAN Number → Click "Validate". The system pulls your PAN details automatically.
Step 4: Fill Business Details
Enter your mobile number and email. Scroll down and enter the name of your business, the address of your office or shop, and the date you started the business.
Step 5: Add Bank & Activity Details
Enter your business or savings bank account number and IFSC code. Select your business activity (Manufacturing or Services) and search for the closest NIC code that matches what your business does.
Step 6: Submit and E-Sign
Enter the total number of employees and your investment amount (you can put zero if you are just starting). Click "Submit and Get Final OTP" → Enter the OTP → Note down your Udyam Registration Number (URN).
Step 7: Print Certificate
Wait 2 to 3 days, then go back to the homepage. Click "Print/Verify" → "Print Udyam Certificate" → Login with your URN and OTP to download your official PDF certificate.
