Overview
Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, launched by Madhya Pradesh Government in March 2023, provides ₹1,500 monthly financial assistance to women aged 21-60 years from economically weaker families. The scheme has benefited 1.28 crore women with ₹25,000 crore+ disbursements by 2026, aiming at women empowerment and household financial stability.
Funds are transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts on the 10th of every month. The program excludes government employees, income tax payers, and families with higher incomes, verified through Samagra ID database.
